Lakeshore Bed and Breakfast at Teach Bán is a modern family B&B, located in Kilkeeran in the beautiful village of Partry in County Mayo. Kilkeeran is famous for its success in the nationwide tidy towns/villages competitions. The area is designated as area of "outstanding natural beauty" and is located within a protected wild game sanctuary on the shores of Lough Carra. It is home to a wide selection of birds and bird watchers see them in a safe and beautiful environment.
The area offers excellent fly fishing and coarse fishing. It also provides some of the finest golf, hill walking, horse racing and touring in the West of Ireland. Nearby, Lough Mask hosts the World Cup Wet Fly Fishing Competition in August each year. This year the competition starts on Thursday 2rd August and the final is on the 6th August. These lakes are World famous for Mayfly fishing for Wild Brown Trout.
